Matthew Madson

For over twenty years the urban environment has provided a vehicle for Matthew Madson's studies of color, composition, and mood.   He painted New York City and Chicago cityscapes for about a decade, but more recently he has turned his attention to home: the hard-scrabble areas of Northeast Minneapolis.
