Darwin Follrath (1909-2000)
 

Darwin Follrath was born in Arlington, Minnesota, in 1909. He studied at the University of Minnesota and was mostly a self-taught artist.

He joined the Minnesota Artist Association in the 1930s with artists Dewey Albinson and Clement Haupers.

Follrath regularly exhibited at the museums in Minnesota as well as the Minnesota State Fair. He won first prize or his painting titled “Bend in the Mississippi” in 1938.
