Delor Erickson (1936 - 2008)

Delor Leon Erickson was born on June 5, 1936.  He lived and painted in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  After a long and distinguished career in commercial art, he entered a joyful period of creating and exhibiting fine art from his own imagination and experience.

Erickson loved many kinds of music, from string quartets to jazz and gospel. He was an avid reader and baseball fan, an urban gardener, and an intrepid white-knuckle canoeist. He was known and loved by his family and many friends for his whimsical humor, generosity, and kindness.

Erickson passed away on May 30, 2008.
