 Lorraine Goff Le Sueur (1911 - 1992)

 

Painter and printmaker Lorraine Le Sueur was married to artist Mac Le Sueur, with whom she exhibited.  The subjects of most of her silkscreen prints were dance and dancers.  She studied at the Minneapolis School of Art from 1934-1935.  She went on to teach at the Walker Art Center School and at the St. Paul Art Center. 

 

Lorraine Le Sueur exhibited at the Minnesota State Fair, 1938 (prizes), 1939 (prizes); Minneapolis Institute of Arts; St. Paul Gallery and School of Art; and the University of Minnesota Gallery.
