Louise Minert Kelly (1876 - 1948)

Louise Kelly's artistic career spanned several decades, during which she became highly respected for her contribution to American Impressionism.

​

Her works often reflected the scenic beauty of New England and the Midwest, capturing light and atmosphere with a distinctive palette and brushwork.  She was known for Impressionist landscape, seascape, and coastal view paintings.

​

In addition to painting, Kelly was dedicated to arts education, frequently lecturing and mentoring younger artists in her community.  Louise Kelly was active/lived in Massachusetts, Minnesota, and Iowa.
