Rochelle Woldorsky

​

Rochelle Woldorsky is a multimedia Minneapolis-based artist known for exploring themes of spirituality, routine, and liminal spaces through painting, photography, and installation, often incorporating Jewish themes and drawing inspiration from biblical texts like Exodus.  

 

Woldorsky received a BFA from the Minneapolis School of Art (now MCAD) and an MFA from the University of Minnesota, where she later taught drawing in the Fine Arts Department.

 

She has a long career exhibiting works at the Weisman Art Museum, the Nash Gallery at the University of Minnesota, and Groveland Gallery in Minneapolis. She has received a McKnight Fellowship, a Minnesota Humanities Grant, and several State Arts Board Grants.
