Russell Norberg (1933 - 2022)
Russel Norberg was born in 1933 and lived for many years in Nisswa, Minnesota.
Norberg began his career as a commercial illustrator, then taught art at Bagley and Staples high schools.
In 1975, he became a full time professional artist, and in 2000 he opened and operated Paper Birch Gallery in Nisswa.
His work featured landscapes and the changing of seasons.

Norberg passed away in the fall of 2022.
